May 17, 2014 - 9:00am to 4:00pm
Noon Honor Guard Ceremony & Heritage Flyover

Please join us in Brady, TX, to honor our veterans and active duty service members. Wake up to the sounds of big radial engines as the "Dawn Patrol" sounds Reveille! Make your way to historic Curtis Field 4 miles north of Brady on Hwy. 87 to watch the warbirds come flying in. Take a ride in a real WWII airplane or real WWII half-track. See the tank, jeeps, weapons & flamethrower demonstrations. Take time to enjoy the museum exhibit, art gallery, and exhibitors. At noon, stand at attention to honor and remember those who serve and have served as the Honor Guard from Goodfellow AFB presents the colors as the Curtis Field Heritage Flight circles overhead. Then take a break and support the Museum and Boy Scouts with a delicious hamburger lunch. Walk over to the real German P.O.W. barracks building currently undergoing renovation and visit with the reenactors you see stroll by. It's a day to experience history and have PLANE FUN in Brady, TX!
