Albany: Family Trout-Fishing Day

January 28 at 10:00am to at 2:00pm

In an effort to help the public take advantage of this new fishing opportunity, we will be hosting our first trout-fishing day on December 17th, 2016. There will be two additional trout-fishing days on January 28th and February 18th, 2017.
In addition to the unique opportunity to fish for rainbow trout, there will also be golf carts available for those visitors who want to take a self guided tour of our historic military fort, and there is camping available across the highway from the fort and fishing pond. For those interested in fishing for native species, remember that we are also bordered by the Clear Fork of the Brazos River, which offers year round fishing for our visitors.
