Buffalo Gap: Graham's Old Post Office Museum & Art Center

August 10 at 11:00am to at 12:30pm

The Old Post Office Museum and Art Center

The Old Post Office Museum and Art Center of Graham is well known for its history, its historic collections, and its nationally recognized fine art exhibits.  Ground breaking for the Graham Post Office took place on October 15, 1935, as a project of the WPA, and opened on May 28, 1936.  In 1993, the Graham Post Office was moved to a new location and the building purchased by the City of Graham.  The Old Post Office Museum & Art Center, located in the downtown square, became a reality. Director Marlene Edwards shares the history of the museum and art center and provides insight into upcoming events.  Additional details to come!
