San Angelo: The Ladies Living History Symposium


March 9, 2018 - 1:30pm to March 11, 2018 - 1:00pm

The Ladies History Symposium will cover the life of women on the western frontier. Sessions on clothing, food, and interpretation techniques will help volunteers better tell the story of women who shared hardships with the soldiers at Texas military posts in the 1800s. 

The public is welcome to visit, at no charge, the crochet stitching class from 1:30-4:00 p.m. Friday, the artisan bazaar from 3:00-4:00 p.m. Saturday, and the Ladies Tea at 4:30 p.m. Saturday. All events will be in the fort's Officers' Quarters 8 and the Chapel.
