Comanche: Brennan Vineyards

The historic McCrary House, one of the oldest homes in west central Texas, now serves as the tasting room and gift shop for Brennan Vineyards.  A Recorded Texas Historic Landmark, the house was built by James Madison McCrary in 1876 of limestone quarried near Austin. The central-hall structure features segmental arches and gable-end chimneys. The adjacent Austin House Events Center, with space for dining, dancing and reception activities is perfect for weddings, corporate retreats, intimate concerts or other special events. Wine dinners are held on the second Friday of each month except August.
