Mineral Wells: Crazy Fossil Dig Adventure

November 1, 2014 - 10:00am to 2:00pm

National Earth Science week is October 14-20 and we are proud to be a part of this national event by holding a celebration of our own, even if it is a little later.

There will be tons of fun for visitors during the Crazy Fossil Dig! The first 50 attendees will receive a Mineral Wells Fossil Park apron, designed especially for your next paleontological adventure.  The parks Pennsylvanian period fossils date back over 300 million years and visitors are welcome to take their finds home. Special guests from the Dallas Paleontological Society will be on site to assist with fossil identification.

There will also be displays, hands-on activities for visitors, guided tours and history lessons about the park.  With free admission, this is hardly an opportunity to pass up!
