The museum tracks Concho County development from the frontier to the present. Here you can learn about the distinguished career of Eden native General Ira C. Eaker. Eaker commanded the U.S. Army’s Eighth Air Force bombing campaign against Germany in World War II, and is credited with inventing navigational devices and piloted the first transcontinental flight solely dependent on aerial refueling. Other gallery highlights include stories of the cattle and sheep industries that form the backbone of Eden's heritage, and artifacts related to the area's native American history.
